JAG Funding Update 11.17.17:

As you may be aware, the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funding decisions were scheduled to be publicly released by the Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) on November 15, 2017. Unfortunately, we are unable to release our funding decisions at this time. Neither OCJS nor any other state administering agency across the country has received JAG funding from the Department of Justice (DOJ). This year’s JAG award has new pre-award conditions, which resulted in a lawsuit by one jurisdiction. DOJ has indicated they will not release the funds until the court case is resolved. I am deeply sorry for the delay and I am mindful of the impact this can have on agencies and entities across Ohio. I will continue to update you on this matter as I learn additional information.
